Mangaluru: St. Aloysius College (SAC), a premiere institution is organising a two-day talent search fest “Pre-Unique 2017” for high school and pre-university students starting November 10.
The ingenious state level fest will be inaugurated by the President and Rector Rev. Fr. Dionysius Vas., S.J. at 8.30 AM.
Renowned Kannada actor of Ondu Motteya Kathe (OMK) fame Raj B Shetty will be the chief guest during the inaugural.
The valedictory function is scheduled at 3.30 PM on November 11 where Shreya Anchan, actress of OMK will be the chief guest.
The century old premiere institution is striving towards the overall development of students by giving a lot of emphasis to co-scholastic activities along with academics. The fest will mainly focus on promoting young talent while displaying the rich tradition and culture of the land.
Around 50 institutions have confirmed participation in the event and the number is likely to exceed 60. Around 42 events will give ample opportunities for the talented to fuel their fire.
The management, staff and students of the college have extended cordial invitation to all those interested, beseeching benignant companionship.
Prof. Shalet D’Souza, Vice-Principal, Dr. Ganesh Amin Dean, Deepthi Rani, Tanya Pais and Inas Dias (all programme coordinators) were present at the press meet on November 7, while briefing the media about the talent search fest Pre-Unique-2017.
