Mangaluru: St Aloysius ITI celebrated their annual day on the theme ‘Celebrating Diversity’ on Friday, May 10 at their auditorium at 10 AM.
Coordinator of the KPCC Media Department and former corporator Vinaya Raj was the chief guest of the occasion. Rev Fr Dionysius Vaz SJ presided over the event. Popular Tulu actor and Yakshagana comedy artiste Aravind Volar was the guest of honour.
Each of the guests delivered a rousing speech to the gathering.
On the occasion, Aravind Bolar, Vinaya Raj and Director Rev Fr Melvin Lobo SJ were felicitated by the students of the institution after the formal event.
Robin Vas and Kiran D’Souza read the annual report. Principal of the college, Vincent Mendonca welcomed the gathering. Wilson N delivered a vote of thanks.
Earlier, the students of second year MMA invoked the blessings of the almighty with a prayer song following which there was a welcome dance.
Former director of SAITI Rev Fr Leo D’Souza SJ and president of the alumni association Naveen Rasquinha were also present.
