Mangaluru : VTU Mangaluru Division Handball Tournament was organized and hosted by St Joseph Engineering College Mangaluru on March 10, 2023. The chief guest of the program was Dr Ramananda H S – Dean of Student Welfare SJEC and Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’souza- Director SJEC presided over the function.
The Handball Tournament was organized for all the engineering colleges of the Mangaluru Division. The winners of the tournament were SJEC, and the runners up were SDMIT, Ujire. The Best Shooter was awarded to Sathish from SDMIT, Jason Allen Carlo from SJEC was awarded The Best Goalkeeper and Sharon S Perumayan from SJEC was awarded The Best All-Rounder of the tournament.
The awards and prizes were distributed by Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’souza- Director SJEC and Rev. Fr Alwyn Richard D’souza – Assistant Director SJEC. Dr Rio D’souza – Principal SJEC, Vaneesha Rodrigues – Physical Education Director SJEC and Sudheer M – Assistant Physical Education Director SJEC and Poornesh M- Sports Advisor SJEC were present during the ceremony.
