Mangaluru: Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College and Hospital celebrated Rastriya Poshan Abhiyaan 2023 on 30 Sep at seminar hall. The program was inaugurated by Dr Madhavi Bhargav, Deputy Head, Centre for Nutrition Studies, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). He spoke on the importance of Nutrition Assessment and food habits in daily life. Dr Puneeth Ragahvendra K R, Principal, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science college spoke on the Nutrition and Healthy living with a proper lifestyle.
Dr Sunitha D Souza Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics delivered the welcome address. Ajith K, Assistant Professor, Department of Nutrition and Dietetics read the detailed report on the outreach activity. Competition and Webinar session organized as a part of these events followed with a prize distribution for these competitions. Amina delivered vote of thanks. Shaizana Sheik hosted the program.
