Ahmed Pasha reunited with his brother from Beedar.
Mangaluru: On 05.01.2023 a destitute aged about 39 years was wandering on the streets of Hosangady with poor hygiene and a depressed state was rescued by a Social worker Ibrahim and admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Center Manjeshwar for care and treatment.
After the preliminary care he was diagnosed with psychiatric illness and he said he was Ahmed Pasha. Under the guidance of a Psychiatric Doctor and Senior Psychiatric Social Worker, the treatment was started along with various therapeutic activities.
Slowly he improved in his condition and shared his native details. Based on these details team contacted the local Police Station and Panchayath. And the team was successful in tracing his family at Tippu Sulthan Colony, Amalapur of Bidar, Karnataka. Team Snehalaya contacted his younger Brother Mohammad Muqthar and today on 24.04.2023 he along with their leader Mohammad Saleem reached Snehalaya and met Ahmed Pasha after 8 months of missing. They shared that Ahmed Pasha was working in travels and once met with an accident and was treated for a head injury. After that, he developed a psychiatric illness and was under treatment. All of a sudden was missing and siblings and family members searched for him.
They were happy to meet him and take him back to their hometown. They appreciated the service of Snehalya and were thankful to Brother Joseph Crasta the founder of Snehalaya who guided his team.
