Mangaluru: First Day Novena preceding the Feast of St. Anthony was held at St Anthony Ashram – Jeppu. The theme for the Day was “For all married couples and families to be based on Prayer, Faith and Joy”
The First Day Novena Mass was held at Milagres Church at 6:00 p.m. Rev. Fr Anil D’souza-Director of the Family Life Centre celebrated Mass. Rev Fr J B Crasta, Rev Fr Rupesh Tauro, Rev Fr Larry Pinto concelebrated the mass.
Special prayers were offered for all those who suffer marital discord, trials in their families and who are separated from their families. The choir of Milagres Parish sang and joined in Thanksgiving. The morning Novena was celebrated at the Ashram by Fr Stany Monteiro at 10:30 a.m. Lunch was served to all devotees.
