GCSE Mangalore chapter holds Market Clinic Encompassing growth

Mangaluru: Global Chamber of Saraswat Entrepreneurs (GCSE), as a part of its endeavours to disseminate business knowledge to its members, organized a Saraswat Clinic at Mangalore on 22 July 2023. This being the first such event being conducted at the Mangalore chapter of GCSE, we were privileged to have CA Ashutosh Kharangate, the founder of Mangal Analytics and Research Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (MARC), Goa deliver a talk on “Understanding New Project Feasibility and market expansion”.

The session specifically focussed on the importance of market research for any business that is contemplating growth. The obvious, but very relevant questions of What, Why, When, Who and How in the context of market research were answered in detail through this very informative presentation. Case studies threw light on introducing a new product/ service as well as upgrading an existing product/ service, determining the market for such product/ service and then tailoring the product/ service to the asks of the target market.

CA M.N. Pai, Director, GCSE, welcomed the gathering. Founder Director and the driving force of GCSE. CA Siddharth Sinkar graced the gathering with Anirudha Walawalkar, Director GCSE and Ar. Rajesh Kenkre, member GCSE Goa.

CA Siddharth Sinkar delivered the presidential address and provided insights on the activities of GCSE and events organized by the chamber for the benefit of members. He urged the non-members in the audience to enlist as members and avail the membership benefits.

CA Sinkar also spoke about the LEAP, a special loan scheme for first-generation entrepreneurs in collaboration with Saraswat Bank, especially for the members of GCSE.

The programme was compered by Vathika Kamath. GCSE Canara Chapter committee members Sudhir Bhandarkar, Naresh Bhat, Shubha Baliga and Vathika Kamath were also present. The program ended with a vote of thanks.

The event touched upon an important aspect of business, saw the participation of more than 50 entrepreneurs, and was appreciated for its value proposition by all the participants.

Saraswat Chamber also announced that such knowledge-sharing sessions will be conducted every alternate month in Mangalore and surrounding towns from now on.
