Mangaluru: There is no doubt that graduation is the dream of every student who strives and struggles in their life to achieve and to witness the special event that is ‘Graduation Day’. Of course, education does not end in a person’s life, as he can learn a lot through life. It represents for us the satisfactory reward for the struggle and persistence they achieve in education from the very first day. The Graduation Day of the kindergarten section of Heera International School, Shakthinagar, Mangalore, was held on Thursday March 31 in the school auditorium at 10 .30 am.
The dignitaries of the day, the chief guest Poornima R. K. Bhat, administrator, counsellor, ARIVU Early Intervention Centre, presided by Dr K Bhaskar Shetty, President, Nandavan Education Trust, Guest of Honor, Dr K Roshan Shetty, Correspondent of Heera International School, graced this occasion. The programme began with the grandeur entry of kindergarten tiny tots, along with the guests. The program began with the prayer dance followed by the graduation ceremony followed by an oath. The tiny tots shared their sweet memories of their early schooling along with the message from the parents and the teachers.
The tiny tots were felicitated with the graduation certificates and medals by the chief guests. The chief guest Poornima Bhat congratulated the students and inspired the audience with her wonderful insights on parenthood and measures to overcome learning disabilities in the early stages. The annual report of the school was presented through a PowerPoint presentation, including all the various curricular and co-curricular activities of the year. The President of Heera International School, Dr K Bhaskar Shetty addressed the gathering on the importance of skill-based and best education in the early stages of childhood. A variety of cultural programmes and mesmerizing performances were given by the students.
The programme was presided by Administrator Janet, Principal Dr Lalithambika and Vice-Principal Sunitha D Souza. Sangvia of grade 6 welcomed all the dignitaries, vote of thanks by Shaina of grade 9. The whole programme was hosted by Srinidhi, and Vrijesh of grade 6.
