The Principal ignited the minds of all Lourdites on Arts Integration which is an approach to teaching students to construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. He also stated that art has the ability to connect us to our thoughts, feelings, perceptions, outer realities and experiences. Art educates us, inspires us, lifts our spirits, and continues to help us learn and grow as people.
Aditya Nishanth of Class 8D presented the significance of the day. The school choir with their melodious voice added beauty to the celebration. Prapthi Rathish of Class 8D compered the programme beautifully under the guidance of her class teacher Padmashree Bhat.
The Principal Rev Fr Robert Dsouza inaugurated the Art Exhibition with a live drawing which was indeed an attraction of the day. The budding artists exhibited their variety of artworks like aipen art, resin art, dot art, mandala, bottle painting, acrylic, pencil sketching, crochet and so on. Viewing the exhibition was truly a treat to the eyes of all the Lourdites. The Art Teachers Thyagraj and Revathi were appreciated by the Principal for their hard work and artwork. All students gave their wholehearted support to make LCS ART DAY a grand success.
