Mangaluru: The Mangaluru City Corporation and the District Tobacco Control Cell authorities raided shops here on Monday January 23.
A plastic and tobacco control operation was carried out in front of KSRTC Bus Stand, Bejai in the City, simultaneously.
The authorities registered 32 cases on the spot. They also collected a fine of Rs. 4,000. Further, four signboards were removed under Section 5.
City Corporation Officers Jayashankar, Bhaskar, Ashwini and District Tobacco Control Cell Officers Pundaleeka Lakati, and Shruti Salian participated.
