Mangaluru: The first Parent-Teacher meet for the academic session 2022-23 of Milagres Central School was held in the Senate Hall, Milagres, on 28 July 2022. Refreshments were served to the attendees. The meeting started with a prayer song sung by the students.
Correspondent of Milagres institutions, Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, Campus director, Fr Michael Santhumayor and Principal of Milagres Central School, Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes presided over the session. The chief guest Dr Srinivas Bhat U, Professor and H.O.D, Department of Psychiatry KSHEMA, spoke on the topic ‘Parental role on the growth of their children. He reiterated the fact that parental assistance and friendship will go a long way for a child to successfully adapt to the environment.
The guests were welcomed by Priya Rodrigues. The guidelines on student conduct and discipline were addressed by Principal Fr Joseph Uday Fernandes. This was followed by the formation of the committee of parents, two-parent representatives from each class volunteered for the same.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mariette. The programme was compered by Violet Pereira Vas.
