Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath performed the bhoomi pooja for the development work of Manalkodi Road in Alape South Ward of Mangaluru City Corporation.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kamath said that, “A grant of Rs. 50 lakh has been provided by the Coastal Development Authority for the development of Manalkodi Road, which was a very important demand”.
“There was a demand for the development of this road for several years. Today by initiating the work the demand of the people has been fullfilled,” he added.
“The issue of widening of Manalokodi Road has been resolved and the owners of the land have cooperated with the development by cooperating with the widening of the road. If there is a good response from the people for development, it will help in completing the work. I would like to congratulate all those who have cooperated in this regard,” he said.
