Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath performed the bhoomipooja for various development works in Padavu East Ward of Mangaluru City Corporation.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kamath said that thousands of crores of rupees have been brought in innthe form of grant for the overall development of the City. He added that along with the development of infrastructure, tourism has also been given top priority and Mangaluru will be recognised as a model City in the next few years.
Kamath said that Padavu has performed the bhoomipuja for the development of drain from Kotimura Koragajjana Gudi in East Ward to main road, drainage development near the road connecting Kotimura to Upper Garden and asphalting of the road from Kotimura to Ganapathikatte and the works of all these projects will start soon.
Mangaluru City Corporation Deputy Mayor Poornima, Standing Committee Chairpersons Shakila Kava, Kishore Kottari, Local Corporator Bhaskar Moily, Leaders Vijay Kumar Shetty, Ajay Kulashekara, Sujan Das, Dinesh Kotimura, Ratheesh Balakrishna, Anil Rao, Rajesh, Nitin, Likith, Rajendra Baiturli, Harini Prem, Arun Rao, Akshit, Alvin Rego, Anil, Yogish, Nagaraj Acharya and others were present on the occasion.
