Mangaluru: Mount Carmel Central School observed a day of reflection and prayer for the Primary School (students of Grades I to V on Sep 16, 2023). The day commenced by connecting with God through prayer led by the students and was followed by guided nature meditation. Later, the students reflected vocally on the marvels of nature.
Teachers spoke on the themes ‘Love of God’, ‘Life is Precious’ and ‘Love for Parents’ and these talks were supported with videos, interaction, action songs and activities. The students reflected on these themes and it was heartening to read their reflection on the marvels of God which they penned down and made a collage. As a takeaway, the students prepared ‘Thank You’ cards as a token of love for their parents. It was overwhelming to see the students prayerful, participating, yet disciplined.
