Mangaluru: The 2023 Summer Camp at Mount Carmel Central School, Maryhill, which aimed at keeping the campers engaged, enthused, and energetic by providing them with an even platform to explore and express their creativity and curiosity came to a halt on 15 April 2023. The valedictory programme commenced with being grateful to the Almighty for the opportunities provided.

With every activity like Zumba, dance, yoga, theatre and drama, fun with science, water games, art and craft, cooking without fire, outdoor games, clay modelling, mini mela, kite flying, watching a movie which the camp provided, the exuberant campers zealously participated and showcased their creativity. Thus achieving the motto of the camp ‘Involve and enrich’. The camp was earnestly appreciated and applauded by the campers and their parents. A few were happy to articulate their experiences of the camp during the valedictory programme.

The finale was an amalgamation of action song, yoga, Zumba and drama followed by receiving the participation certificate. The auditorium was in a hustle and bustle as the campers bid bye-bye to the 2023 camp. The chief guest our own teacher Neetha, who was the camp co-ordinator was heartily welcomed along with the administrator Sr Carissima. In her message, Sr Carissima acknowledged the presence of the parents, applauded the teamwork of the teachers and appreciated the involvement of the campers. The cherry on the cake was the mass Zumba dance which showcased the life of the fifteen days camp.
