Save Life Charitable Trust Hands Over 3 Oxygen Concentrators To District Administration

Udupi: Seva Life Charitable Trust (R) handed over three Oxygen concentrators worth Rs 1,84,800 to Deputy Commissioner K Jagadeesh on Saturday May 29. The donation was made to district administration.

Deputy commissioner applauded the service mindset of the Trust.Trust President Arjun Bhandarkar, photographer Manju Neereshwalya and Ramesh Shenoy were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Save Life Charitable Trust (R) Chairman Arjun Bhandarkar said the trust has already handed over 6 oxygen concentrators to the district administration through Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner. In the next few days, we are planning to provide oxygen concentrators to Bantwal taluk. Arjun Bhandarkar said that in the last ten months, through the Save Life Charitable Trust, about Rs 1.3 crore worth donations have been made that includes social service activities such as treating the sick and building houses for free, he added.

He said that on behalf of the trust, under Bantwal Town Panchayat, 100 police personnel were provided with food facilities as they had no hotels in the area die to lockdown. Also 28 Asha workers were lent a helping hand by giving them grocery kits, he said.
