Mangaluru: The Yenepoya Nursing College witnessed its 17th Graduation day on 11.11.2022 in Yendurance Zone, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) campus wherein 125 students of UG and PG graduated. The celebrations started with the academic procession followed by an invocation. The Dean, of YNC, Dr Leena KC presided over the function.
Prof. Prasanna Kumar O, Registrar of Karnataka State Nursing Council was the Guest of honour. He appreciated graduands for their achievement and emphasized on the privilege of being a professional nurse.
Dr Anice George, Professor, Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal was the Chief Guest. She emphasized raising the standards of care. She advised graduands to be sincere and stand out in terms of their action and competencies. She emphasized the need to return to the country and serve even if they move to greener pastures now.
Dr Priya Reshma Aranha and Gireesh GR presented the graduates and toppers.
