
Gangolli Police Arrest Two in Trasi Village Burglary Case
Udupi: The Gangolli police have arrested two individuals in connection with a house burglary that occurred on January 21 in Trasi village, Kundapur taluk.
The burglary took place between 10:15 AM and 11:30 AM, during which the suspects broke into the house of Uday Poojary near Trasi Beach and stole a gold necklace (16 grams), a gold bangle (16 grams), and three gold rings (3 grams), with a total estimated value of ₹2 lakh.
Acting swiftly, the investigation team, led by PSI Harish R and comprising officers Shantharam, Raju, Nagaraj, Raghavendra, Sandeep Kurani, Maruti Naik, and Dinesh, gathered crucial evidence. By 8:00 PM the same day, the police apprehended the accused, Vinayak (41) and his wife Pramila (30), both residents of Gujjadi, Kundapur.
The stolen items, including the gold jewelry and a TVS motor scooter (KA 20 EK 6304) used in the crime, were recovered. The arrested individuals were presented before the court, and further investigations are underway.
