Holenarasipur: On Saturday, two officers from the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the sexual abuse allegations against MP Prajwal Revanna arrived in Holenarsipur. They spent the entire day near Bhavani Revanna‘s residence hoping to conduct an inquiry, but she did not appear.
On Friday, the SIT had issued a fourth notice to Bhavani Revanna, the mother of Prajwal and wife of MLA HD Revanna, regarding a case involving the alleged kidnapping of a former maid from K R Nagar taluk in Mysuru district.
A special court in Bengaluru had denied anticipatory bail to Bhavani Revanna, on Friday. She had indicated her willingness to cooperate with the SIT at her Holenarsipur residence, should an interrogation or questioning be necessary, but she failed to appear before the officers for an inquiry.
