Haveri: Late Wednesday night, a tragic accident occurred near Valmiki Circle in Haveri when a KSRTC bus struck and killed 31-year-old Jayamma Koolenoor. Jayamma, a resident of Ijari Lakamapura and an employee at a government women’s hostel, was crossing the road after being called by her husband from the other side when she was hit by the bus.
The KSRTC bus was traveling from Hubli to Haveri when the collision happened, causing severe head injuries that led to Jayamma’s immediate death.
