In a tragic incident, a 12-year-old girl lost her life after being electrocuted at her residence in Kacherimukku in Koduvally.
The deceased has been identified as Thanha, daughter of Rasheed of Kalathingal. According to local sources, the incident occurred when she was playing on the terrace of her house.
Came in contact with power line
While on the terrace, Thanha reportedly came into accidental contact with a live power line that was passing close to the house. The sudden electric shock left her critically injured.
Family members and neighbours rushed her to a nearby hospital immediately after the incident. However, despite medical efforts, doctors were unable to save her life.

The tragic death has cast a pall of gloom over the locality, with residents expressing shock and grief over the untimely loss of the young girl.
