Visakhapatnam: More than 13,000 students came together in a spectacular display of Andhra Pradesh’s vibrant tribal culture, performing the traditional Dhimsa dance to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the inauguration of the Alluri Sitarama Raju Memorial.
The grand cultural presentation transformed the venue into a celebration of India’s rich indigenous heritage, with thousands of students dressed in colourful traditional attire performing in perfect synchronisation. Prime Minister Modi witnessed the performance as part of the inauguration ceremony honouring Alluri Sitarama Raju, the legendary tribal freedom fighter who led the Rampa Rebellion against British colonial rule and remains a symbol of courage and patriotism.
