A heartbreaking incident was reported from Mukkom near Kozhikode on Saturday evening, where a 17-year-old girl was discovered hanging at her home. The deceased, Ananya Jayaprakash, was the daughter of Jayaprakash Palakkuzhiyil and a resident of Gothamba Road.

The Mukkom Police have registered a case and initiated inquest proceedings at the Kozhikode Government Medical College Hospital mortuary. Authorities stated that the next steps in the investigation will follow the completion of the inquest.
