Bengaluru: Former higher education minister and BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali has been appointed as the Telangana state in-charge for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. He has been given the responsibility of implementing the party strategy in Telangana.
BJP national president Amit Shah has made Limbavali’s appointment.
Limbavali, BJP’s dalit face in Karnataka has joined the party after serving the ABVP. Even though he is from Bagalkot district, he represents Mahadevapura assembly constituency in the state legislature. He served in the cabinet of BS Yeddyurappa, DV Sadananda Gowda and Jagadish Shettar as the higher education minister. He had also served as an MLC for one term.
