New Delhi: In a major setback to the Congress party, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has said that his Aam Aadmi Party’s alliance with the Congress is a temporary one. The pact of both the parties at present is to defeat the BJP.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Kejriwal said that his party is not in a permanent marriage with Congress. He said, both parties’ aim now is to defeat BJP. He also said that a big surprise is awaiting on June 4 as the INDIA bloc will win the Lok Sabha election. 

The Delhi CM who is on interim bail in connection with the alleged liquor scam, said going back to jail is not an issue. The country’s future is at stake. 

AAP and Congress are fighting unitedly on seven seats of Delhi, while they are fighting against each other in Punjab. Voting in Delhi took place on May 25 and Punjab will vote on June 1. The result of the election would be declared on June 4.
