The All India Students’ Association (AISA) has announced statewide protests demanding the release of students arrested during the agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak.
The announcement came after several students were taken into custody in connection with recent demonstrations held in Bihar over alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.
AISA warns of intensified agitation
Addressing the media, AISA President Neha Bora warned that the protests would intensify if the detained students were not released.
“If the protesters are not released, then the same scene that was seen in Delhi will be seen on the streets of Patna,” she said.
She also announced that demonstrations would be held on July 30 demanding the immediate release of all students arrested during the protest movement.
Demand for release of detained students
AISA alleged that students participating in the movement were being unfairly targeted and called on the authorities to withdraw cases against those detained.
The student organisation reiterated its demand for accountability in the alleged NEET paper leak case and urged the government to address the concerns raised by aspirants.

The arrests followed protests linked to the alleged NEET paper leak, which triggered demonstrations in several parts of the country. Authorities have maintained that action was taken in accordance with the law, while investigations into the incidents remain underway.
