Actress Archana Puran Singh recently opened up about her Madh Island residence, which is currently undergoing renovation. Through her YouTube vlog, she took fans on a nostalgic trip, recalling memories linked to the house and her journey of buying it with husband Parmeet Singh.
The story behind buying the house
Archana revealed that the house was initially very expensive when they first saw it. “When we first saw the house, it was extremely expensive, and then we decided not to buy it. We even forgot about it. However, after a few years, the prices of the properties dropped, and then I told Parmeet that we have to buy it,” she said.
She also shared that she had wanted two bungalows, but Parmeet joked that making such a decision could lead to divorce. “Actually, we wanted to buy two houses, but Parmeet said it’s so expensive, and if we take such decisions, we might get divorced. He said it as a joke. However, years later, we bought the house,” Archana added.
Transformation and memories
The actress described how the house looked very different when they first moved in. “It was an empty land when we first moved in. There’s so much greenery now, but this wasn’t the case when we first came here. So many memories are linked to this house that the idea of changing it makes me feel a certain way,” she said.
Parmeet also shared a heartwarming memory of a special birthday surprise he had planned for Archana while the house was still under construction. “I temporarily cleaned everything in one of the rooms, called all her family members, and gave her a birthday surprise. I remember how happy she was,” he recalled.
