New Delhi: Attacking the Prime Minister yet again regarding the surge in COVID cases, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, on Monday morning, said that the people of the country must “save their own lives because PM is busy with peacock”.
Taking to Twitter on Monday morning, the Wayanad MP wrote that the coronavirus cases in the country will cross 50 lakh this week and active cases will cross 10 million.
He accused the government of implementing the lockdown without a proper plan and said that it was a “product of one man’s ego”, which caused the virus to spread across the country.
“The Modi government said to be self-sufficient (atmanirbhar), which means to save your own lives because the PM is busy with peacocks,” he added.
