Noted Mumbai-based author, leadership expert and knowledge coach Radhakrishnan Pillai passed away following a cardiac arrest in Mangaluru on Monday night. He was 50.

Dr Pillai was widely known for his bestselling books on Chanakya and Indian leadership philosophy. Over the years, he authored 24 books, many of which became popular among students, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and readers interested in management and ancient wisdom.

His works blended traditional Indian knowledge systems with modern leadership and business practices, earning him recognition across academic and literary circles. His books on Chanakya’s teachings especially gained widespread readership and were appreciated for making ancient strategies accessible to contemporary audiences.
