Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar criticized the BJP government, stating that their focus is solely on publicity, with little intention to perform beneficial actions for the general public.
He expressed, “The citizens are aware that the BJP primarily prioritizes publicity. The developmental efforts in Bihar have been primarily carried out by us. However, the BJP is attempting to claim credit for these achievements.”
During an interaction with the media in Patna, the Chief Minister also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not issuing a statement regarding the ethnic violence in Manipur.
“The parliament was underway in New Delhi and PM Narendra Modi was not present in the parliament. Such a thing would not have happened in the past. When I was in the central government during Atal Ji’s tenure, everyone stayed inside the house.
“Now, it is completely different. Opposition parties have a job to bring the issues in the house but center is not liking it,” the Chief Minister said.
He said that parties are getting united. “We assembled in Patna, then Bangalore and now we will assemble in Mumbai,” the Chief Minister said.
