The body of a woman doctor, a second-year postgraduate student at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata, was discovered under mysterious circumstances on Friday morning. She was found dead in the Seminar Hall on the third floor of the emergency building.
Police and a forensic team, led by Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal, are investigating the incident. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Reports indicate that the doctor had gone to the seminar hall after dinner on Thursday night.
