Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, currently touring India for his So Happy It Hurts Tour 2024, performed in Kolkata on Sunday. Following the concert, he took the time to explore the city’s iconic landmarks, sharing a montage of his visit on social media.
In the video, Adams is seen posing in front of the Victoria Memorial and taking pictures along the ghats of the River Ganges. He captioned the post, “Spent the day visiting sites in Kolkata, just off to Shillong for the second day of our fabulous ‘So Happy It Hurts’ tour of India #sohappyithurts (sic).”
Adams, known for hits like “Summer of ’69,” “Everything I Do (I Do It for You),” and “Straight From the Heart,” has been a rock music legend for over four decades. His So Happy It Hurts tour marks his sixth visit to India, though it was his first performance in Kolkata.
In an earlier interview, Adams shared his fond memories of India, including meeting Priyanka Chopra and the Kapoor family backstage, discussing music and life, and enjoying traditional Indian food, particularly daal.
