Congress, SP Demand EC Action Over Alleged Voter Fraud Video

New Delhi: The Congress and the Samajwadi Party have jointly called for immediate action from the Election Commission following the circulation of a viral video depicting a youth allegedly casting multiple votes. 


In the video, which spans about two minutes, the individual is seen casting votes for the BJP candidate Mukesh Rajput on an Electronic Voting Machine (EVM). Rajput is identified as a BJP contestant from the Farrukhabad Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh, as per data from the Election Commission. 

In response to the dissemination of the video, the Congress has urged the Election Commission to swiftly address the issue and take appropriate measures to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi shared the video on his X handle, which was also shared by former Uttar Pradesh CM  and SP leader Akhilesh Yadav.
