A bizarre incident in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, has captured widespread attention after a video went viral showing a handcuffed criminal riding a motorcycle with a police constable seated behind. The footage, filmed by a passenger in a nearby car, revealed the unusual sight of the cop donning a helmet while the handcuffed individual drove the bike without one.
As the vehicle sped down the road, a long rope could be seen connecting the criminal’s wrist to that of the constable, with the officer acting as a pillion rider. Reports suggest that the constable allowed the prisoner to control the bike due to the cold weather, as he felt chilly and preferred riding behind.

The video quickly gained traction online, with netizens divided over the situation. Some questioned the issue, arguing that the constable’s decision made sense under the circumstances. Others expressed concern, condemning the act of letting a handcuffed criminal operate a vehicle, regardless of the reasons behind it.
