Surinder Singh, a CRPF head constable from Hyderabad, died after reportedly collapsing while on duty at a camp in Zainapora area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Officials said the jawan suddenly lost consciousness during duty hours at the camp, following which he was immediately attended to by personnel and shifted for medical assistance.

According to initial reports, the incident took place at the Zainapora CRPF camp where the jawan was posted as part of security deployment duties.

Despite efforts to revive him, he was later declared dead, officials confirmed.
