The Delhi High Court issued a stay on Tuesday against the trial court’s decision to grant bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the money laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam. The High Court has reserved its decision on the matter, prompting AAP leader Kejriwal’s legal team to approach the Supreme Court.

Last week, the High Court postponed the trial court’s decision to grant bail to the Delhi Chief Minister, citing the need for careful consideration of the Enforcement Directorate’s arguments challenging the bail order. Justice Sudhir Kumar Jain pronounced the order, emphasizing the High Court’s deliberation on the ED’s contentions.
