A distressing video has surfaced showing a 12-year-old boy tied to a railway track in Bihar, while a man brandishing a stick looms over him.
The incident occurred in Begusarai, often called the “Leningrad of Bihar,” approximately 125 km from the state capital, Patna. Allegedly accused of theft, the boy was first beaten by a group of men. Subsequently, they brought him to a railway track near Lakhminia Railway Station where they tied him up and continued to assault him.
Fortunately, police intervened and rescued the boy from the ordeal.
“The accusation is completely false. They assaulted him together and tied him to the railway track,” stated the boy’s father.
When asked about the identity of the attackers, the father declined to provide further information.
The suspects—identified as Roshan Kumar, Jay Jay Ram Chaudhary, and Kahul Kumar—have been apprehended and are in police custody.
It was reported that a minor was tied to a railway track and beaten by three men on suspicion of theft. The police responded promptly, rescuing the boy and arresting the suspects,” said Neha Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) from Balia.
