Mumbai:Major fire broke out on the sets of TV show Comedy Nights With Kapil at Goregaon Filmcity on Wednesday morning.According to the Fire Brigade control room, the fire broke out at 8.15 am on Wednesday.Four fire engines, five jetties and an ambulance have been rushed to the spot,sources said.
According to official sources, the fire has been brought under control and no casualties have been reported so far.The extent of damage and cause of the fire are yet to be ascertained.
The popular TV show is hosted by stand-up comedian Kapil Sharma. Bollywood A-listers including Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor often come to promote their films on the show.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha apparently broke the news on Twitter as she was shooting nearby for Rambo Rajkumar.
