Gang rape victim unwilling to meet us, says Kerala Womens Commission Chief

Udupi: The Kerala Womens Commission Chairperson KC Rosakutty accompanied by advocate Rubina Rashid and Dr Tulasi arrived in Manipal today in the wake of the gang rape of a Kerala based medical student of Manipal…

However, the Commission team was disappointed when the  victim and her family members expressed their unwillingness to meet the team.

The Commission Chairperson Rosakutty  said the victim was reluctant to meet them, but her father has promised to call the team in the evening. She further said she spoke to the doctors attending on the victim who have said that she would be discharged in three days.
Rosakutty said  the Commission would do its level best to secure justice to the victim. She said her team would submit a report on its findings to the Kerala Chief Minister who would then take necessary action.

Rosakutty and her team later left for Mangalore to meet IGP Pratap Reddy.
