Chandigarh: Haryana witnessed a major patriotic celebration on August 13, with a Tiranga Yatra setting two new Guinness World Records ahead of India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations.
The achievements were registered in the name of Gaurav Gautam from Palwal, Haryana, according to reports. Thousands of people participated in the event, carrying and holding the Indian national flag as part of a large-scale patriotic march.
The two records were recognised in the categories of ‘Longest Mass March With Flag’ and ‘Most People Holding a National Flag’.
5-km-long national flag becomes centre of attraction
