The post, shared on r/delhi, was written by a man who said he had spent his entire life in Delhi NCR before moving to Mumbai for a few months due to work commitments. Titled “Living in Mumbai as a Dilliwala is horrific”, the post quickly drew strong reactions from users across both cities.
The Redditor said his perception of Mumbai as a vibrant, comfortable metro changed rapidly once he began living there. He complained about cramped housing, high rents for small apartments, long travel times, and what he described as a constant struggle for space. According to him, daily life felt exhausting compared to Delhi NCR, where he felt infrastructure, road width and housing space offered a relatively easier lifestyle.
