Bengaluru: A man claiming to be a graduate of IIT Bombay has been arrested for allegedly spreading false information on social media about illegal detention at an airport in Bengaluru.
The accused, identified through his online handle “Utkarshgautam96,” had reportedly posted claims on the platform X (formerly Twitter), alleging that he was unlawfully detained at the city’s airport.

According to officials, the accused tagged Kempegowda International Airport in his posts and claimed that he had been illegally held by authorities.
