Rome: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni have outlined a new roadmap for deepening bilateral ties, describing India and Italy as key strategic partners connecting the Indo-Pacific region and Europe amid changing global geopolitical dynamics.

PM Modi and Meloni stated that both countries are committed to working closely with international partners to operationalise the ambitious project. The corridor is expected to become an alternative strategic trade route connecting Asia and Europe while reducing dependency on traditional supply-chain pathways.
