Mumbai: A minor dispute over purchasing a new iPhone turned tragic in Deonai village of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, Maharashtra, leaving a boy and both his parents dead on Friday.
According to District Collector Vinay Gowda, the incident occurred following an argument within the family over buying the mobile phone.

The disagreement reportedly escalated into a dangerous situation, resulting in the boy falling from a hill. His parents also died while attempting to save him, according to the report.

Police begin investigation
A case has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
The provision outlines the procedure for police officers to inquire into and report cases involving unnatural or suspicious deaths.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to establish exactly how the dispute developed into the fatal incident and determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
