Kannur has taken a significant step forward in paediatric orthopaedic healthcare with the launch of a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Child Hip Preservation and Cerebral Palsy.
The newly established unit aims to provide tailored, patient-centric treatment for children facing hip disorders, cerebral palsy, and even sports-related injuries. With an emphasis on early diagnosis and advanced rehabilitation, the centre seeks to improve long-term mobility and quality of life for young patients.
The facility was formally inaugurated by BMH’s Cluster CEO, Niroop Mundayadan, who highlighted the importance of such focused care for early intervention in paediatric orthopaedics.
This initiative places Kannur on the map for specialised child care in musculoskeletal conditions, blending expert medical attention with family-focused recovery plans.
