In a dramatic turn of events, Janardhan Reddy received a major reprieve today as the Telangana High Court granted a stay on the sentence imposed on him. The development has sparked celebrations among his supporters, many crediting the outcome to the relentless devotion and spiritual efforts of his wife, Lakshmi Aruna Janardhan Reddy.

Lakshmi Aruna undertook a series of intense religious rituals and temple visits over the past weeks, praying fervently for her husband’s legal relief. She visited Anjanadri Hill in Anegundi, pledging to write one crore verses of the Sundarakanda, and sought blessings from Lord Krishna in Udupi and the Puthige seer. A homa at Kollur Mookambika temple was conducted to ward off ill fortune, and she received blessings at the Brahmalingeshwara temple.

Her spiritual journey also took her to Assam’s Kamakhya Devi temple, where she offered prayers with the hope that justice would favor her husband. Despite family and political isolation, Lakshmi Aruna remained undeterred, leading pujas and encouraging supporters.

On June 10, her faith was seemingly answered as the High Court issued a stay on Janardhan Reddy’s punishment, stirring joy among his followers. Firecrackers, celebrations, and public cheer erupted at many places as devotees hailed divine grace and Lakshmi Aruna’s unwavering resolve.

Her solo spiritual campaign has now turned into a symbol of devotion, endurance, and belief in divine justice.
