A man, suspected to have arrived at Thiruvananthapuram’s international airport, was reportedly kidnapped by a gang while traveling in an autorickshaw early Wednesday, according to police. The identity of the man remains unknown, and an investigation is underway.
The incident occurred as the man, who had boarded the autorickshaw near the airport entrance, was traveling through the Sreekandeswaram area. According to the autorickshaw driver, a car intercepted the vehicle, and a gang forcibly transferred the man into their car before speeding away.
Police are relying on the driver’s statement, which mentioned that the kidnapped man was speaking in Tamil. Authorities are still trying to confirm whether the man had indeed arrived at the airport and if he was carrying any luggage at the time of the incident.
Efforts are being made to gather more information and track down the individuals involved. The police have intensified their investigation, aiming to uncover the motive behind the kidnapping and locate the missing man.
