A 30-year-old man died after suffering a heart attack while playing cricket in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur, in a tragic incident that has shocked the local community.
Collapsed after returning from batting
The deceased, identified as Chandra, reportedly began feeling uneasy while batting during a local cricket match on Saturday. Eyewitnesses said he was even recording himself at the time, capturing what would unknowingly become his final moments.
After completing his turn, Chandra returned from the field but suddenly collapsed, alarming fellow players and spectators.
Efforts to save him fail
According to his friend Anoj Kumar, Chandra was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and later referred to another medical facility as his condition deteriorated.
Despite receiving treatment for nearly 40 minutes, his health did not improve. He was subsequently shifted to Bareilly for advanced care, where doctors declared him dead.
