A shocking case from Rajasthan has come to light, where a Class 10 student was allegedly subjected to repeated abuse across Bundi and Jaipur. The incidents reportedly occurred between August 11 and 13, prompting swift action from police and child welfare authorities.

According to officials, the victim’s family lodged a complaint at the Sadar Police Station in Bundi. Additional Superintendent of Police Uma Sharma confirmed that a case has been registered under the POCSO Act and investigations are underway by Bundi DSP Arun Kumar Mishra.

Police reports suggest that after leaving Bundi, the minor traveled by bus and later fell into the hands of multiple accused individuals in Jaipur, where she was further mistreated and confined. She eventually managed to reach Jaipur Police, who ensured her safety and coordinated with their counterparts in Bundi to return her home.

Children Welfare Committee President Seema Poddar said she met the survivor on August 14, describing her as initially fearful but now cooperating with authorities. She added that the police have recorded her statement and are taking necessary action to ensure justice.

The case has sparked outrage, highlighting the urgent need for child safety measures and stricter monitoring of vulnerable spaces such as public transport hubs.
