The father of Mona Lisa has alleged that his daughter was misled into travelling to Kerala on the promise of learning dance and acting, only for him to later discover that she had been married without the family’s knowledge.
According to the father, he was initially informed that Mona Lisa would be staying in Kerala for training related to performing arts and career opportunities. Believing it to be a genuine opportunity for his daughter, he agreed to let her travel.
However, he later came to know that Mona Lisa had reportedly been married during her stay there. The father claims he was shocked by the development and said he was not allowed to meet his daughter after the marriage, raising serious concerns within the family.
Father raises concerns about alleged deception
The family has alleged that the information about dance and acting classes may have been used as a pretext to take Mona Lisa away from home. The father said the family had no prior knowledge of any marriage plans.
He expressed distress over the situation, stating that he was unable to contact or meet his daughter after learning about the marriage.
Allegations linked to organisation
In his statements, the father also claimed that the incident might have links to Popular Front of India (PFI). However, these allegations have not been independently verified by authorities.
Investigation details awaited
So far, there has been no official confirmation from law enforcement agencies regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident. It also remains unclear whether a formal complaint has been registered.
Observers note that allegations involving deception or forced marriage require careful investigation to establish the facts. Authorities are expected to examine the matter if a formal case is filed.
Meanwhile, the family continues to seek clarity about the events that led to Mona Lisa’s marriage and hopes to reconnect with her soon.
